Clausura Playoffs: Santos Laguna, Tigres Advance

In the Clausura playoffs, Jose Francisco Torres's Pachuca beat Club America 1-0 in their second-leg but exited the playoffs 3-2 on aggregate.  Edgar Castillo and Tijuana also saw their season end, drawing 2-2 with Monterrey on the night and exiting 4-3 on aggregate.

On Sunday, Herculez Gomez subbed on in the 68th minute with the score line already settled in Santos Laguna's 2-1 win over Chiapas.  Santos went behind six minutes in, but goals in the 14th minute from Carlos Darwin and in the 37th from Oribe Peralta gave them the win on the night and the series 6-4 on aggregate.  Jonathan Bornstein wasn't involved in Tigres's 4-1 win over Morelia to take their series 5-1 on aggregate.
