Italian giant Juventus will not be going ahead with its tour of the United States scheduled from July 19th to August 1st, 2012. The club was supposed to play three games Stateside, including meeting DC United on July 28th. United released a press statement on Thursday confirming that the game has been cancelled.
“We’ve received word that Juventus FC will no longer be playing in Washington, DC. While we’re disappointed with the news, DC United is already in discussions with another, major European team to fill that date and will share opponent and ticketing details as a deal is finalized.”
