MLS Disciplinary Committee acts against LA, Montreal

Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham, LA coach Bruce Arena, and Montreal coach Jesse Marsch were all sanctioned by Major League Soccer’s Disciplinary Committee, MLS has announced.  Beckham will miss one game and pay a fine for “his confrontational and provocative behavior during and immediately following the Galaxy’s 4-3 loss at San Jose on June 30th.”  Arena and Marsch were fined for “public criticism of the officials.”  The amount of the fines were not made public.
