Michael Orozco took full advantage in the 55th minute of San Luis's 2-1 loss to Cruz Azul. Standing near the penalty spot, Orozco shot directly at Cruz Azul goalkeeper Yosgart Gutierrez who bobbled the save. that cancelled out Cruz Azul's 17th minute opener, but it would be the visitors taking all three points with an 84th minute winner.
Jose Torres was the second player sent off for Pachuca who were shutout 3-0 by Atlas. With Atlas up a goal, Jorge Hernandez was red carded in the 65th minute with Torres following three minutes later. Atlas scored their second in the 73rd minute and a Pachuca own-goal finished things off in the 91st. On Friday, Edgar Castillo's Tijuana was shutout 4-0 by Leon. Sunday, and DaMarcus Beasley started for Puebla in a 3-1 loss to Toluca. Puebla equalized in the 32nd but were two goals down when Herminio Miranda was red carded in the 72nd. In Sunday's late game, Herculez Gomez picked up a yellow card in first-half stoppage time and subbed out in the 58th minute for Santos Laguna. In the 89th minute Gomez's strike partner Carlos Quintero scored for the 1-0 win over Chivas.
Terrence Boyd is quickly becoming a regular with new club Rapid Vienna. He went the distance in a 1-0 win over Wiener Neustadt. In Denmark, Charlie Davies subbed on for Randers in the 71st minute in a 2-1 comeback win over Aarhus. Randers fell behind in the 33rd minute but were level by the 49th and ahead for good in the 66th. Staying in Denmark, Michael Parkhurst picked up a 75th minute yellow card and subbed out three minutes later in a 1-1 draw with Odense. Nordsjaelland took the lead in the 16th minute with Odense equalizing in the 81st.
