Julian de Guzman is no longer a member of Toronto FC, the club announced on Friday.  de Guzman moves to Dallas in exchange for forward Andrew Wiedeman.  de Guzman joined Toronto from Deportivo La Coruna in Spain's topflight.  Along with Dwayne De Rosario, both players were key Canadian National Teamers playing for a Canadian MLS team.  De Rosario was traded early last season and now de Guzman follows.  He holds a designated player roster spot.

"Losing someone like Julian is never easy but this deal gives us increased flexibility to address areas where we have more pressing needs and opens up a designated player spot for our club,” Toronto coach Paul Mariner said in a press statement. “On behalf of everyone at Toronto FC, I’d like to thank Julian for his contributions to the club and wish him well in his future endeavours.”

I am surprised that any body was so stupid to take him, he was not worth even a fraction of his $1.9 mln.I am very sorry for Dallas.
