Sacha Kljestan got the start and scored Anderlecht's 9th-minute opener in a 6-0 win over FK Ekranas to advance to the play-off round of the Champions League. Anderlecht took the third round series 11-0 on aggregate. Ekranas goalkeeper Emilijus Zubas was sent off in the 25th minute. Though Anderlecht failed to convert their penalty, they added a second goal when Dennis Praet scored in the 31st minute. It would be 3-0 at the half from an Oleksandr Yakovenko goal. Two minutes into the second-half, Tom De Sutter scored. Guillermo Molins increased the lead to five goals, with Fernando Matos finishing off the scoring in the 87th minute. Anderlecht advance as a seeded team in the Champions route of the playoff round.
