AZ 4 – Veendam 1

Jozy Altidore's AZ had no trouble getting past Veendam in the second round of the KNVB Cup on Thursday.  Viktor Elm opened the scoring for AZ in the 8th minute and had finished off a hat-trick when he converted a 34th minute penalty.  It was Altidore's turn from the penalty spot in the 76th, making it 4-0 before Veendam picked up a consolation goal two minutes later.  AZ plays SWZ in the third round.
