Toronto had no trouble on the road in El Salvador on Tuesday night, shutting out Aguila 3-0. Quincy Amarikwa opened the scoring in the 15th minute and Terry Dunfield scored in the 40th and 88th. Aguila finished with no shots on goal.
Elsewhere in the Champions League, Monterrey shutout Municipal 3-0 and Herediano beat Tauro 2-1. The Herediano win means Real Salt Lake will need to beat them 1-0 or by two goals on October 23rd to win Group 2 and advance to the knockout stage.
