Champions League: Win for Schalke, draw for Anderlecht

Schalke got a win and Anderlecht drew with Milan on the opening day of the 2012-13 Champions League group stage.Jermaine Jones got the start and subbed out in stoppage time for Schalke 04 in a 2-1 win over Olympiakos in the Champions League Group B.  Schalke's Benedikt Howedes opened the scoring in the 41st minute with Olympiakos equalizing in the 58th.  Schalke got its winner a minute later when Klaas-Jan Huntelaar scored.

Sacha Kljestan went the distance in Anderlecht's 0-0 draw with Milan.  Both teams had trouble getting their shots to fall, with Milan taking 20 put only putting four on frame to Anderlecht's two from 14.  Kljestan was yellow carded in the 80th minute.
