DC United picked up a road win on Thursday night, beating Philadelphia in front of 16,024 at PPL Park. Lionard Pajoy scored the game's only goal in the 67th minute. The Union had the better offensive states, doubling United's shots total 14 to 7 and putting 5 of those on frame to DC's 2. Philadelphia also led 5 to 2 on corner kicks, but couldn't find a way past Bill Hamid. With five of the six teams in the top six spots in the Eastern Conference on 29 games played, DC moves to 4th-place.
