Pontius re-ups with United

Chris Pontius has signed a new contract with DC United, the club announced on Friday.  “I’m obviously very happy today,”Pontius said. “DC has been very good to me – the organization, the fans, and the community – and I’m committed to bringing this team back to where it needs to be.”  Pontius is the club's leading goal scorer in 2012, with ten of his 23 career goals coming this season.
