Champions League: Nordsjaelland 0 – Chelsea 4

Michael Parkhurst got the start for Nordsjaelland in Champions League play on Tuesday, but the SuperLigaen club and were competitive for long stretches against Chelsea.  The defending champions went up in the 33rd minute when Mata scored, with that holding until David Luiz doubled the lead in the 79th.  Chelsea piled on the offense late in the game, with Mata getting his second goal in the 82nd and Ramires scoring in the 89th minute.  After two match days, Nordsjaelland are bottom of Group E with no points.  In the group's other game, Juventus and Shakhtar Donetsk drew 1-1.  Nordsjaelland host Juventus on October 23rd.
