National Teamers Abroad: Goal for Altidore, Everton Head to Replay

Jozy Altidore scored for AZ in their 2-2 draw with Roda for his 16th goal of the season.  Roda took the lead at home in the opening minute with Altidore equalizing in the 34th.  A Willy Overtoom goal put AZ up in the 51st minute, but Roda were level by the 64th.  AZ are 11th in the Eredivisie table.

In Serie A, Michael Bradley subbed on in the 68th minute for Roma in their 1-0 loss to leaders Juventus.  In Austria's Bundesliga, Rapid Vienna's Terrence Boyd subbed on in the 53rd minute in a 2-1 derby loss to Austria Vienna.  In Belgium, Sacha Kljestan setup Anderlecht's second goal in a 2-0 win over Charleroi as the Pro League season resumes.  Dieumerci Mbokain opened the scoring in the 13th minute and Massimo Bruno scored in the 40th.  Turkey, and Maurice Edu started for Bursaspor in a 1-0 shutout of Elazigspor. 

Only one National Teamer was involved in the Fifth Round of the FA Cup, with Tim Howard in goal for Everton's 2-2 draw with Oldham Athletic.  Howard had a strong performance, stopping 10 shots in another tough game for a Liverpool-area team against Oldham in this season's Cup.  Oldham led from the 13th minute at Boundary Park, with Victor Anichebe equalizing in the 24th minute.  Everton took the lead in the 48th when Phil Jagielka scored.  Oldham equalized five minutes into stoppage time to setup the replay on February 27th.

"We just couldn't get a head or the goalie's hands on it," Everton manager David Moyes said of the late equalizer. "I thought there was a foul on the goalkeeper from the previous corner.  I thought we could see it out but in the last five minutes we looked as if we were panicking a bit and we didn't do the right things." 

In the Bundesliga, Hoffenheim were shutout 1-0 by VfB Stuttgart with Fabian Johnson and Danny Williams starting.  Williams subbed out in the 54th minute.  Jermaine Jones's Schalke 04 drew 2-2 with Mainz.  Michael Parkhurst got the start for Augsburg in a 2-1 loss to Bayer Leverkusen.  Augsburg trailed by two goals when Sascha Molders scored in the 89th minute.  Nurnberg's Timmy Chandler setup the stoppage time equalizer in  2-2 draw with Hannover 96.  Hannover led from the 41st minute with Timm Klose equalizing in the 53rd.  Hannover took the lead again in the 68th with Sebastian Polter equalizing two minutes into stoppage time. 

Liga MX, and DaMarcus Beasley and Michael Orozco started for Puebla in their 1-1 draw with Chivas.  Beasley subbed out in the 67th.  In a meeting of National Teamers Abroad clubs, Jose Torres started for Tigres and Herculez Gomez started for Santos Laguna in a 1-1 draw.  Torres subbed out in the 74th with Gomez exiting in the 86th minute. Joe Corona played the first-half for Tijuana in a 2-0 loss to Jaguares.  The referee sent off Edgar Castillo in the 48th minute.
