WASHINGTON, DC (July 14, 2008) USSoccerPlayers -- DaMarcus Beasley will need at least three weeks to recover from an injured hamstring. Beasley picked up the injury during Rangers 1-0 win over SC Preussen Munster in a friendly on Sunday.
"It is a hamstring injury, so we will be looking at him to be out for a few weeks," Rangers manager Walter Smith told the club's official site. "Hopefully, it is not too long, but he will miss the remaining matches here."
Sunday's game was the first of five friendlies Rangers have scheduled this month, and Beasley will likely miss the home and away Champions League qualifiers on July 30th and August 5th or 6th.
