France: Carlos Bocanegra started and went the full 90, as Rennes fell 4-0 to Olympique Marseille. Bakari Kone opened the scoring for L'OM in the 52nd, Mamadou Niang made it 2-0 in the 57th, Nicolas Douchez was credited with an own goal in the 58th, and Niang got his second of the game in the 71st. Rennes finished with only two shots on goal. Steve Mandanda got the clean sheet. The result means Rennes finishes the Ligue 1 season in 7th place on 61 points. An unfavorable goal differential made the result irrelevant for a European slot, with Toulouse taking the Europa League place with 64 points and a +18 differential to Rennes' +8.
Freddy Adu wasn't in the squad for Monaco's season ending 0-0 draw against Paris Saint-Germain.
Spain: Jozy Altidore missed Xerez's 3-0 win over Eibar. Mario Bermejo got the first goal in the 68th and Brian Sarmiento followed in the 86th. Txema Anibarro put the ball into the back of his own net for Xerez's third. Chema picks up the shutout.
Italy: Danny Szetela was on the bench for Brescia, 1-0 winners over Pisa. Fabrixio Zambrella got the game's only goal in the 90th minute. Michele Arcari picks up the shutout.
Austria: Preston Zimmerman did not play as Kapfenberg was beaten 4-0 by Rapid Vienna. Erwin Hoffer was the hero for Vienna, scoring before and after -Kapfenberg's Miroslav Milosevic was red carded on the hour mark. Hoffer got Vienna's opener in the 2nd, doubled that in the 55th, and finished off the hat-trick in the 64th. Yasin Pehlivan scored in the 67th.
Danish SAS-Ligaen
FC Midtjylland 4 - Brondby 2
Danny Califf started and scored Midtjylland's fourth goal in the 73rd. Frank Kristensen opened the scoring in the first minute. Jude Nworuh got the second just before halftime. Mikkel Thygesen made it 3-0 in the 53rd before Brondby finally got on the board through Kasper Lorentzen. Trailing 4-1, Brondby's Alexander Farnerud converted a penalty in the 90th.
AGF Aarhus 1 - Vejle 1
Benny Feilhaber started for Aarhus, who trailed 2-0 after Delani scored in the 57th and Adda Djeziri found goal in the 73rd. Jesper Blicher got Aarhus on the score sheet in the 79th, but they couldn't find the late equalizer. Jeremiah White wasn't in the lineup for Aarhus.
FC Nordsjaelland 2 - Aalborg 2
Michael Parkhurst got the start and went the full 90 for Nordsjaelland, with the clubs trading goals. Nordsjaelland hit first in the 28th through Bajram Fetai. AaB answered when Henrik Dalsgaard scored in the 37th. Dennis Cagara got Nordsjaelland back in the 41st, but Lasse Nielsen split the points with his 48th minute equalizer. Marcus Tracy wasn't in the squad for Aalborg.
