Marcus Hahnemann wasn't without an English club for long. Let go by Reading after the club failed to win promotion, he is now a member of the Champioship winners Wolverhampton Wanderers and will be playing the 2009-10 season in the Premier League.
"I'm excited to be here," Hahnemann told the club's official site. "Wolves were one of Reading's main rivals and I've always had good experiences when I've come up here."
"The games here have always been good and it was a great opportunity (to sign), one that I couldn't turn down. My buddy Kasey Keller played with Mick (McCarthy) and when I told him what was happening he said it would be great for me to come to Molineux."
Hahnemann won't be moving into an immediate starting job. Wayne Hennessey is Wolves starting keeper and is expected to remain so when the new season kicks off in August.
