Kamara Joins Wizards

The Houston Dynamo traded forward Kei Kamara to Kansas City today for forward Abe Thompson and allocation money.  “We would like to thank Kei for his contributions to the Dynamo, both in 2008 and this year.  We feel this is a good move that will help our team remain competitive for the remainder of this season and beyond,” Dynamo COO Chris Canetti said.  Kamara joined the Dynamo in a trade with San Jose in 2008.  He previously played with Columbus.  Thompson had 69 appearances with FC Dallas before a 2008 trade to Kansas City.
