CONCACAF's executive committee voted on Monday to come out in support of the United States bid to host the 2018 or 2022 World Cup. "The United States can count on the full support of CONCACAF, including Chuck Blazer, Rafael Salgueiro and myself," CONCACAF president Jack Warner said. CONCACAF has also decided to stop member clubs from participating in the Copa Sudamericana, the secondary club competition in South America. A decision on further participation in the Copa America has been postponed.
