First Star: Marcus Hahnemann started again for Wolverhampton, getting early support when Jody Craddock scored in the 3rd-minute. Second Star: Tim Howard came up with a big late save to deny Tottenham's Jermaine Dafoe in stoppage time. "It was a vital save and it was important because I think the players had worked incredibly hard, stuck at it, never gave in and we tried to get something out of it," Everton manager David Moyes said. "Because of that we earned a bit of good fortune when the penalty came around." That capped a late comeback for Everton, drawing 2-2 with Spurs. Dafoe opened the scoring in the 47th-minute and Michael Dawson made it to 2-0 in the 59th. Luis Saha pulled a goal back for Everton in the 78th and Tim Cahill got the equalizer in the 86th-minute.
Third Star: An easy game for Brad Friedel in goal for Aston Villa, who didn't need a save in his club's 3-0 win over Hull City. But overall, I am delighted - really pleased with the win." Jozy Altidore came on in the 54th-minute for Hull. Brad Guzan was on the bench for Villa.
