Clint Dempsey is now the career leader in goals scored during Fulham's time in the Premier League. Dempsey passed fellow American Brian McBride to set the new mark with a two goal performance at Craven Cottage in a 3-0 shutout win over Bolton. Dempsey opened the scoring in the 15th minute and added a second goal in the 48th. Brede Hangeland scored Fulham's third from a set piece in the 65th minute. Fulham are now undefeated in seven games and are 9th in the Premier League with 42 points from 34 games played. They are ahead of Stoke City on goal difference and trail Bolton by four points.
