USA National Team defender Oguchi Onyewu is now a member of Sporting in Portugal’s Primeira Liga, signing a three season contract. Onyewu leaves Milan in Serie A after spending the second-half of the 2010-11 season on loan to FC Twente in the Dutch Eredivisie. He was part of the squad for the USA’s recent Gold Cup run, but did not play.
