United States National Team forward Jozy Altidore is now a member of AZ Alkmaar, the club most associated with its US National Team alum and AZ’s director of football Earnie Stewart. Alkmaar bought Altidore’s contract from La Liga club Villarreal. Altidore joins the Eredivisie club after spending part of last season on loan with Bursaspor in Turkey’s topflight.
