National Teamers Abroad: 2.Bundesliga

Germany's second division started the season over the weekend and with it several National Teamers Abroad clubs. Unfortunately for fans of Americans playing abroad, only one 2.Bundesliga American saw playing time. Edson Buddle was a 76th minute substitute for Ingolstadt, losing 2-0 to St Pauli. Fabian Boll scored both goals for St Pauli, opening the scoring in the 51st minute and finishing it off in the 69th.

Michael Parkhurst went the distance for FC Nordsjaelland in a 2-0 loss to Odense in the SAS-Ligaen's opener at Fionia Park. In anearly battle of American clubs, Chris Rolfe went 71 minutes for AaB in their 2-2 draw with Clarence Goodson's Brondby. Goodson played the full 90.

Did Not Play: Ricardo Clark (Eintracht Frankfurt 3 - SpVgg Greuther Furth 2), Luis Robles (Karlsruhe 3 - Duisburg 2), Alejandro Bedoya (Orebro 1 - GAIS 4), Gale Agbossoumonde (Djurgardens 1 - Mjallby 0: Djurgardens have announced that though Agbossoumonde is signed through the end of July, he is free to leave the club)
