Though Andre Akpan would bring Colorado level six minutes later, it would be Pavan again in the 33rd to take all three points. The result leaves Colorado bottom of Group B on a tiebreaker with Real Espana. Both teams have four points from four games played, with Santos Laguna and Metapan tied with six points after three games played.
Dallas 0 - UNAM Pumas 2
FC Dallas's success in Mexico didn't extend to Pizza Hut Park, with UNAM Pumas getting a measure of revenge with a two goal win. Both teams ran into red cards, with Dallas's Jackson sent off in the 39th minute alongside UNAM's Luis Fuentes. UNAM eventually got on the board two minutes from time, scoring again in stoppage time. Dallas finished with two shots on goal to UNAM's nine. The two clubs are tied with seven points at the top of the Group C table with UNAM ahead on a +5 goal differential to Dallas's 0.
Alajuelense 1 - LA 0
Though no one can accuse Los Angeles of taking CONCACAF Champions League games lightly, even a lineup featuring Landon Donovan, Robbie Keane, and David Beckham couldn't come u with a goal in the harsh enviornment of the Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto. Pablo Gabas scored from a free kick in the 28th minute for the game's only goal. The win moves Alajuelense to the top of the Group A table with LA in 3rd behind Morelia on goal difference. Morelia and Motagua have yet to play their fourth game, though Motagua trails LA by six points.
