It was the same score for Jonathan Spector and Birmingham City at home to Club Brugge. This time it was Brugge taking the lead with two first-half goals and City coming back to split the points 2-2. Jean Beausejour scored in the 55th minute and Marlon King converted a penalty in the 74th for the draw. Spector went the distance for City.
Breaking the trend of National Teamers drawing or losing on Thursday, Clint Dempsey was in the starting lineup for Fulham's 4-1 win over Wisla Krakow. Damien Duff opened the scoring in the 5th minute, with Andrew Johnson scoring in the 30th and 57th. Steve Sidwell finished off the scoring in the 79th.
Sacha Kljestan went the full 90 for Anderlecht, beating Sturm Graz 3-0 at the Constan Vanden Stock Stadium. Guillaume Gillet put Anderlecht up in the 23rd minute. Matias Suarez (74th) and Tom De Sutter (81st) finished off the scoring.
