Jozy Altidore scored AZ's final goal in a 3-0 shutout of ADO Den Haag in Holland's Eredivisie. Brett Holman opened the scoring in the 11th minute with Adam Maher making it 2-0 in the 64th. Altidore finished off the scoring in the 83rd minute. Michael Bradley went the distance for Chievo, beating Fiorentina 1-0. Luca Rigoni scored in the 66th minute. In Belgium, Sacha Kljestan got the start in a losing effort for Anderlecht, 1-0 to Cercle Brugge.
Scottish Premier League, and Maurice Edu and Carlos Bocanegra were in the eleven for Rangers, beating Dundee United 3-1. Nikica Jelevic scored from the run of play in the 19th and the penalty spot in the 63rd minute. Rangers' third goal came courtesy of a Dundee United own-goal. Alejandro Bedoya subbed on For Rangers in the 74th minute. A league down, Dominic Cervi got a 1-0 shutout for Greenock Morton over Ayr United. Cervi went on loan to Greenock Morton until the end of 2011in a deal announced on November 4th.
Bundesliga, and Timmy Chandler started for Nurnburg in a 2-1 loss to Freiburg. Jermaine Jones went the distance for Schalke in a 2-2 draw with Hannover 96. Teemu Pukki scored both of Shalke's goals, with a Schalke own-goal gifting Hannover their opener. A league down, Edson Buddle played the first-half for Ingolstadt in a 3-2 loss to Luis Robles's Karlsruhe. Ingolstadt opened the scoring in the 13th minute but trailed 3-1 by the 76th. They got a second goal in the 86th, but couldn't come up with a late equalizer.
Premier League, and Tim Howard and Everton lost 2-1 to Newcastle United. Newcastle got on the board courtesy of a 12th minute own-goal and doubled that lead in the 29th. Jack Rodwell scored for Everton just before halftime. Brad Friedel got the better of a battle of Americans with his Spurs beating Clint Dempsey's Fulham 3-1 on Sunday. Spurs scored in the 10th, 45th, and 90th with Fulham benefitting from a 57th minute own-goal. A league down, Jonathan Spector went the distance for Birmingham City in a 1-0 shutout loss to Reading. Robbie Findley and Forest were on the wrong side of a 3-0 shutout to Portsmouth.
Clarence Goodson got the start for Brondby in a 0-0 draw with Odense BK. Michael Parkhurst's Nordsjaellands beat Koge 2-0. Chris Rolfe went the distance for AaB, shutting out Horsens 2-0.
Mexico, and Michael Orozco's San Luis got a 5-1 win over Toluca in the final weekend of the Apertura regular season. DaMarcus Beasley went the distance for Puebla in a 1-0 loss to Tigres. Herculez Gomez played 64 minutes for U.A.G., losing to Queretaro 3-0. Chivas finished top of the table in the regular season, with Tigres 3rd and Pachuca 6th. San Luis finished 10th, Puebla 12th, U.A.G. 16th, and Club America 17th out of 18 clubs.
