Wednesday turned into a day for announcements from CONCACAF, with the region's governing body finalizing a deal for television coverage of the Men's and Women's 2012 Olympic Qualifying tournaments. The tournaments will be available in Spanish on Telemundo with Universal Sports Network showing games involving the US teams and the finals in English.
"We are extremely pleased that our Olympic qualifying tournaments will be seen on Universal Sports Network and Telemundo," CONCACAF general secretary Chuck Blazer said in a press statement. "With their focus on Olympic sports, we have no doubt that both networks will serve as a great platform for fans to watch our teams attempt to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games in London."
