Carling Cup semifinals, and a tricky second-leg for our Premier League leaders Manchester City. Down an away goal and facing the unfriendly confines of Anfield, City are coming off a late win against Spurs over the weekend. Nobody should be arguing that Liverpool are a tougher assignment than Tottenham, but City's league game didn't start with them a goal down.
Barcelona - Real Madrid

The second-leg of the Copa del Rey version of el clasico. Barca lead 2-1 from the first leg and there are reports of in-fighting between Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho and some of his players. In other words, all the ingredients for a version of the biggest game in Spanish soccer.
